Here is my heat pump experience:
The heat pumps have been a very good investment for our family. We had been spending approximately $3,500 per year in oil. The heat pumps have heated our home until the temperature is below around 30 degrees, when we do have to turn our oil furnace on. I do feel they would heat our home better if we had a newer home, but our house is older and very poorly insulated. They work very well and have only increased our electric bill about $30-$40 per month. We are happy with them so far, and would strongly recommend Mount Union Supply for your heat pump installation.

I bought 2 of the Fujitsu Heat Pumps and I love them! I talked my mother-in-law and my friend into buying a unit as well. My mother-in-law is planning on getting a second unit. I am trying to talk my neighbor into purchasing a Fujitsu heat pump so that they can lower their utility costs. I am amazed at how this unit works. I didn't have to use hardley any oil this year and for running both units, my utility bill only went up $40.00 per month.

The installation went fine and I want to compliment the work of the installation team on their work which took them late into the day.
This will be our 2nd winter season and it is primarily used to keep temperatures from falling too low when we are not at the cabin. When we are there, we will have a wood stove as the primary heat source in cold weather.
The indoor unit is located on the second floor. So far we have been able to set it for ~ 62 degrees and it has been able to hold the cabin at about 52 degrees with the aid of a ceiling fan while we are gone.
The unit seems to perform well during the summer months when used for cooling, and the drying cycle seems to do a good job at reducing humidity in the home.

In response to your Christmas card we are completely satisfied with our Fujitsu pump.We initially purchased 2 of them for the air condition part as we always used window air conditioners.At first we were a little apprehensive about only 2 systems doing the entire house as our house isaprox. 1900 sq.ft. but they did a great job for most of the house. One bedroom on the end of the house could use a little help and we may consider putting in another one next year. As for the heat pump feature we are very pleased with the performance.We have an oil furnace and a few years ago added a wood stove to the family room but as long as the outside temp is above 40we use the heat pumps which are more than adequate.And another good thing about this is our electric bill in the summer running the air conditioning day and night we have cut our bill by about 40% -- very pleased about that aspect.We are very happy with our experience---the installation went very well also.

As for the Fujitsu Mini-Split Heat Pump that the Mount Union Lumber and Supply put in for us last year was an excellent choice for us. We have 3 Fujitsu Mini-Split Heat Pumps in our home that 3 different companies put in for us that over all work well. The first unit was put in by Barnhart they were professional, did a good job, but were very expensive. The second unit was put in by Goodgo they were professional and came back when their unit quit working, but outside appearance wasn't as nice and neat as the other 2 units we had put in previously. Last the third unit was put in by your company which was least expensive and the outside appearance was over all neater than the other two units. The gentlemen that put our unit in were professional and easy to work with. Always ready to answer our questions and give suggestions when putting our unit in. If we would need something else we would use your company again.

I bought the Fujitsu Mini Split heater for the apartment that I am living in. The Heater works well for me in the summer by cooling the rooms off fast, but I live in a one level building with only 6 rooms, with the ceiling fans the cool works very well. With the heating system part it works pretty good also but also have to use my oil heat on extreme cold days. But I am still saving more money than just using oil heat alone. I am very happy with the Heat Pump.

The Fujitsu heat pump is an amazing piece of equipment. I have oil forced air heat, and the heat pump keeps my place so much warmer because of the constant heat. I would recommend this to anyone. The insallation went very well and the installers are very professional. My utility bill only went up about $15.00 a month, but I didn't have to use any oil.
